This contemporary cabin house plan offers a beautiful and cozy living spaces with a rustic contemporary touch. Our concept is a simple one-story structure with a small footprint. This cabin house is adaptive enough to be built on any type of land or sites. You can build it on flat land, hilly ones, or even floating by the river banks.

Single Story Version (Original Version) – 1,200 sq ft Home
Double Story Version (Modified Version) – 2,350 sq ft Hillside Home with a Walkout Basement
SINGLE STORY VERSION [1,200 SF] – ORIGINAL VERSION
This contemporary cabin house plan is only 1,200 sq ft in size. However, it can accommodate a spacious open plan living area equipped with kitchen, dining, and powder room. There are 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The smaller bedroom is connected to the living room through a wooden slat door panel that can open up during the day. If you’d like, this room can also function as a study / den or yoga room.
The floor plan comes with a very simple and efficient layout. The openness of this cabin house encourages cross-ventilation and natural lights throughout the building. We also provide a back entrance. You can access it from the back, just in case your site entry is on the opposite site, or if you want to connect this cabin to a main building. The sleeping area is located at the back, and there is a clear division between sleeping and living zones so the rooms remain private.

This contemporary cabin house offers an open floor plan and seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor areas. There are floor-to-ceiling doors and windows all over the cabin, as well as spacious outdoor deck wrapping around it.
It is perfect if you are planning to build a small private home for vacation or a guest house close to nature or a vast landscape/garden. It is also suitable for a site on a hill that is private with a relaxing view, even if it is located in the middle of a city.
Homeowners can always use this house plan to build a detached guest house / cabin, in addition to an existing house that they already have. But it is also suitable for a couple or young family who wants just a simple eco-friendly tiny house and live close to nature.
DOUBLE STORY VERSION [2,350 SF] – MODIFIED VERSION
A double story version with a walk-out basement, ideal for building on a sloping site. This house size is wider than the 1-story version due to different deck design and different entryway towards the house.

- 2,235 sf (finished / heated area) plus 115 sf for storage / mechanical room in the basement.
- 2-story structure (ground floor + a walk-out basement)

INTERIOR CONCEPT
We use natural material finishes with rustic modern touch for the exterior, e.g. stacked stones, timber, metal roof, concrete and stone tiles, wood slats, glass railings (optional), as well as black metal frame door windows.

Starter Kit Packages
A Starter Kit is a Schematic / Conceptual Set of the original design, in .PDF file format (non-vector files). The set includes floor plans, roof plan, 4-side elevations, and building sections of the original design (no design modifications) at a smaller scale (A3 or ANSI B paper size). This set of schematic drawings will come with measurements/sizes, room annotations, basic area calculation, etc, so it will be useful if you want to know more about the design prior to buying the architectural House Plans (especially if you want to make changes). House Plan Packages – Basic Plan Set (Original / Modified Design)
The blueprint / House Plan is available for purchase, either the original design or modified version. We can modify the architectural design and drawings to suit your needs. For example: reshape and resize the house so it can fit your land, rearrange the rooms and internal layout to fit your family needs and requirements, or modify the facade design, windows and roof.
The basic plan set is available in vector PDF and DWG/CAD formats and comes with the following items:
- Floor Plans
- Roof Plan
- 4-side Building Elevations
- Building Sections (min. 2)
- Exterior and/or Interior Rendering Images (min. 10 – 15 views)
- A Non-Exclusive Personal Single Use License
Additional drawings and other architectural design services are available if needed; e.g. additional drawings such as foundation plan, electrical plans, ceiling plans, site plan, etc.
Costs to build the house per square foot varies depending on several factors. Usually you can use our basic house plan or drawing set to obtain an initial cost estimate from a local builder in your city / country. Furthermore, if you buy our house plans, you can always customize the original design and plans to suit your preferences and budget (e.g. change the layout and square footage, modify door-window types and sizes, change some architectural material finishes, etc).
